Bonterra Vineyards was proud to serve as the official wine sponsor of the 2003 Sundance Film Festival, held in Park City, Utah, January 16-26. The event drew an estimated 30,000 attendees, as it showcased the talent of independent filmmakers from around the world. Bonterra wines were the exclusive wines poured at all official 2003 Sundance Film Festival events.
"Sundance is the embodiment of ecological awareness and has always nurtured the integration of artistic and environmental issues," says Bonterra winemaker Robert Blue. "Respect for craft, innovation and the environment are principles that are central to both Bonterra Vineyards and the Sundance Institute. We are delighted to continue our support of this vital and worthwhile forum."

At official Festival events, an estimated 27,000 glasses of Bonterra were served. Also during the Festival, chef John Ash conducted a Bonterra food and wine pairing at the Tree Room with noted chef Jason Knibb. The Tree Room is the Sundance Resort’s award-winning, premiere restaurant specializing in seasonal mountain cuisine.
