Winter-Ready Ranch Wine Cocktails
Hot Cherry Toddy
Ingredients (serves two):
– 4 oz Chillable Cherry Ranch Wine
– 1 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye works best)
– 1 1/2 cup hot water
– 4 tsp honey (to taste)
– 1 lemon squeezed
– Optional spices: cinnamon stick, whole cloves, star anise, or a small piece of orange peel
Instructions:
1. In a small saucepan, gently heat the Ranch Wine with any optional spices and water — don’t let it boil.
2. In two mugs, split and combine the whiskey, honey, and lemon juice.
3. Pour the warm wine mixture over the ingredients in the mugs and stir to combine.
4. Garnish with a lemon slice, cinnamon stick, or orange peel.
Chilled Cherry Toddy
Ingredients (serves two):
– 4 oz Chillable Cherry Ranch Wine
– 2 oz whiskey (bourbon or rye works best)
– 1 lemon squeezed
– 4 tsp honey (to taste)
– Ice
– Cinnamon + sugar mix (for rim)
– Optional garnishes: sliced apple, orange or brandied cherries
Instructions:
1. Rim rocks glasses with lemon juice, then dip in cinnamon sugar
2. Fill the glass with ice
3. In a shaker combine Cherry Ranch Wine, whiskey, lemon juice, and honey. Shake gently until the honey is mixed.
4. Strain into two prepared glass.
5. Garnish with optional fruit.
