Our Commitments

Climate Neutral Wine

Our pioneering Climate Neutral certification + Bonterra Beyond Clean™ commitment guarantee the climate footprint for every glass of Bonterra is positive. How? We offset all carbon created from the vineyard to the shelf, then go further to invest in more offsets that regenerate our world.

Responsible Business

We are proud to be a Certified B Corp since 2015. B Corps are for-profit companies that meet some of the most rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency. In all that we do, we are committed to using business as a force for good.

Regenerative Organic Farming

The inspiration for farming this way was simple: organic grapes produce the purest expressions of the varietals and land on which they are farmed. Bonterra’s estate vineyards in Mendocino County, CA have been farmed organically since 1987, long before organic products were widely available in America. At Bonterra, we have a deep respect for the environment. Organic farming and regenerative practices enrich the biodiversity in our vineyards year after year.

Biodynamic Farming

The principle of Biodynamic® farming is the simplest way to understand what it is: a living organism which is self-contained, self-sustaining, and follows the cycles of nature.

Our Team

Our winemaking and winegrowing team ensures that our mission is reflected in every bottle of Bonterra, providing the highest quality wine while honoring our respectful collaboration with the land.

At Bonterra, our definition of sustainability goes beyond the farm to encompass every aspect of how we grow and make wine, bottle and deliver it, and care for our team and communities along the way.
