Estate Chardonnay 2021

The inaugural vintage of our Estate Chardonnay was crafted predominantly from Ledford Ranch, one or our regenerative organic certified estate vineyards in Mendocino County. The brilliant light green and golden straw hue of our Estate Chardonnay hints at the depth of flavor that unfolds in the glass. The palate is rich and creamy with uplifted acidity on the finish.

The fruit for this 100 percent varietal Chardonnay was harvested at the peak of ripeness between September and October, then destemmed and pressed. A long fermentation in stainless steel tanks helped preserve the variety’s natural acidity, while fermentation added depth and viscosity. Nearly a third of this Chardonnay was aged for six months in 100 percent new French oak barrels with a medium toast level, lending the wine a richer, rounder mouthfeel.
