Red Blend Wine
I have ordered bonterra wine for many years, I love Pinot Noir and Red Blend, I enjoy it because is organic and taste really good. Delivery is fast , prices are reasonable, I highly recommend it

Red Blend
While I believe your McNab is your best product, I believe your Red Blend is the best value to taste ratio. I decant all my wines and the Red Blend has a nice complexity to it afterwards. Smooth, mellow, easy, delightful.

The Butler is just a superb wine, all Bonterra wines are fabulous and a must try, I did several years ago and have enjoyed the Bonterra experience. Always love Bonterra-and this was also a winner!
I am a red wine lover and almost exclusively drink Bonterra. Usually drink cabernet, but decided to try this blend. It has a nice aroma, beautiful dark color and a smooth, long finish. Will definitely buy again.

Wonderful red blend!
We are big fans of Bonterra wines. We enjoy a glass of Cabernet or Merlot every day at happy hour. We've been curious about Equinox, and ordered a case during the sale at the equinox, this Spring. Perfect Contrast of sweet and dry

A little taste of heaven
This wine is 1. Organic 2. Reasonably priced and 3. Delicious!! I’m so thankful to Bonterra for such a high quality wine at an affordable price. My wife and I tried Bioterra a few years ago and rarely drink any other kind.

Great table wine
I have purchased Bonterra for years because it is organic without breaking the bank and the quality is great for my end of the day relaxing glass of wine. I purchase other organics but they are usually twice the price so I drink them more sparingly.

I am a fan of Bonterra wines. Have ordered cases of all but Equinox which I have not been able to find in the Washington DC area’. I recently ordered a case directly from the vineyard. I was very impressed. The blend is delicious. My only complaint is the label does not tell what the blend is. Faux pas!

What is the difference between "organic wine" and wine "made with organic grapes"?

The grapes we grow that go into wines we label as “made with organic grapes” are held to the same standards as grapes used to make “organic wines”. The only difference between the two categories is a decision to add a small amount of sulfur at the final stage of wine fermentation. Sulfur is a naturally occurring compound used to end fermentation, this ensures the wine does not continue to ferment after it is bottled.

Our wine is “made with organic grapes”, which means that USDA regulations allow us to use a small amount of sulfur to stabilize the wine just before it is bottled, ensuring a consistent, high-quality product every time. The sulfur we choose to add to our wines regularly falls below the regulated amount.

Regulations for “organic wine” do not permit use of any added sulfur. Because organic wine has no added sulfur/sulfites, it is often less consistent in taste and flavor and it ages poorly.

Are there sulfites in Bonterra Red Blend wine?

Our winemakers have made the decision to use a limited amount of sulfites in our wines to ensure that the wine you open is the same quality as it was when we bottled it, so we label our wines as ‘made with organic grapes.’

The USDA’s “made with organic grapes” certification allows a maximum of 100ppm of sulfites in wines made with organic grapes – that’s less than 1/3 of the amount of sulfites conventional wines are allowed. The average total sulfites for Bonterra wines are between 70 to 90ppm.

The “organic wine” regulations do not permit use of any added sulfur. Because organic wine has no added sulfur/sulfites, it is often less consistent in taste and flavor and it ages poorly.

We recommend that you contact your physician regarding specific health concerns.

Do organic wines contain sulfur?

Yes, virtually every wine contains sulfur, including organic wines. Sulfur occurs naturally during winemaking as a by-product of fermentation.

Does Bonterra Red Blend wine contain glyphosate?

We actively avoid glyphosate. It is not used in our estate vineyards, nor in partner vineyards we source from.
